Thunderbird Supply Company originated over thirty years ago as a humble display case in a motel lobby in Gallup, New Mexico. Native American silversmiths and craftsmen came to buy finished stone for the jewelry they created and are renowned for to this day. Word began to spread of the good customer service and competitive prices, and soon Thunderbird found itself with a larger and larger list of customers who were interested in more than just finished stonework. Today, Thunderbird is a corporation serving a worldwide market with an inventory of over 7,000 jewelry supply items, from lapidary tools to display cases. It employs over 100 people in three locations and is still family-owned.

Headquartered in the heart of Indian country, Thunderbird Supply Company still serves a large and loyal Native American customer base. Our products reflect our roots and leanings toward Indian art from the Four Corners area reservations. As our customer base continues to grow, so too our product lines expand.
